The PLANTS Database provides standardized information about the vascular plants, mosses, liverworts, hornworts, and lichens of the U.S. and its territories. Users can also find specific lists for cover crops, culturally signficant plants, fact sheets, invasive and noxious weeds, wetlands, endangered/threatened/rare plants, and more.

The Germplasm Resources Information Network (GRIN) documents animal, microbial, and plant collections through informational pages, searchable databases, and links to USDA-ARS projects that curate the collections. GRIN is operated by the National Germplasm Resources Laboratory in Beltsville, MD. The searchable U.S. National Plant Germplasm System allows users access to various taxonomic data including Crop Wild Relative Data and World Economic Plants.

ATTRA provides technical information and assistance to sustainable agriculture practitioners and educators. Their website offers news and events, as well as internship and funding opportunities. Topics of interest to crop producers may include Field Crops, Cover Crops, and Crop Insurance, among others. Many publications are available as free or low-cost PDFS. Some are available in print format for purchase. The site also includes online chat for assistance during select hours.

Plants for a Future.
Located in the United Kingdom, "Plants For A Future is a resource centre for rare and unusual plants, particularly those which have edible, medicinal or other uses." Its services include an on-line database which currently consists of nearly 7,000 species of plants. The database is searchable by scientific name, common name or family; edible, medicinal or other use; or search for plants native to a particular area or a particular habitat.
