Antimicrobial Resistance of Enterobacteriaceae Populations in Northeastern U.S. Dairy Operations

Objective

The specific objective of this project is to characterize the antimicrobial resistance of enteric bacteria associated with dairy cattle in the Northeast. The long term goal is to develop and optimize management strategies that minimize the prevalence of zoonotic enteric bacteria, including those resistant to antimicrobial agents, in dairy production systems.
