Overall, the objective of the Workshop is to build a foundation for applied bioinformatics for non-bioinformatician researchers, and show them the best practices in management and analysis of next generation sequencing (NGS) data. The trainees will be able to take home the applied bioinformatics knowledge and spread it to more researchers around them.Viaa three-day Bioinformatics Training Workshop, the participantswill 1) learn and master UNIX command line, shell scripting and intermediateR programming skills; 2) understand the next generation sequencing technologies (NGS), common data types related to NGS data analysis, and howtomanage NGS data. 3) learn how to analyze three types of popular NGS data (RNA-seq, ChIP-seq and ATAC-seq data) via lectures and hands-on practices.
