The California Small Farm Food Safety Project will promote adoption of practices that maximize the safety of producers and consumers through a targeted educational program that will integrate microbiological and food safety educational programs into the UC Small Farm Program. The project will target extension agents, small farmers who direct market their products, and major second language grower groups. It will focus on innovative outreach methods such as radio and video, but will also use some traditional methods.
