Objective

Improve profitability and sustainability of corn and wheat production in Tennessee and the surrounding region through genetic improvement.Develop and release yellow and white grained corn parent lines and germplasm that will be used in hybrid seed production and/or breeding of new varieties.Develop and release soft red winter wheat varieties and germplasm that will be grown by farmers and used in breeding additional new varieties.
