The Goal of the Cincinnati Food Waste Reduction and Composting Project (CFWRCP) is to increase diversion of food waste and creation of compost.Objectives:1. Hire a Food Waste & Community Compost Coordinator to assist with projectcoordination, data collection, source reduction activities, creation of compost infrastructure, coordination with community stakeholders etc.2. Increase food rescue, transformation and gleaning by 60%.3. Create 40 composting sites for vegetative food waste collection and processing.4. Conduct food waste collection pilot progam in four neighborhoods.5. Share completed compost with local agriculture.6. Hire 2 FTE at La Soupe to increase capacity in operations and sourcing, rescuing and creating ready to eat meals to share with community partners.7. Hire 1 PTE seasonal staff at Socirty of St. Andrew SW Ohio office in increase gleaning activities and impact.
