Objective

Screen and evaluate germplasm for drought tolerance and adaptation to southeastern U.S. growing conditions. Develop hybrids/varieties for growers with reduced aflatoxin contamination. Determine the mechanism of drought tolerance and aflatoxin resistance in corn and peanuts.
