DEVELOPMENT OF NANOBIOSENSOR FOR FOOD PATHOGEN AND TOXIN DETECTION USING DNA APTAMERS

Objective

1. Develop protocols of specific DNA aptamers for detecting agents with the ultimate detecting sensitivity and specificity with highly-integrated Atomic Force Microscope (AFM)-based recognition system. 2. Combine AFM nanolithography and recognition imaging to define nano-biochips to verify the viability of a developed protocol. 3. Transfer the nano-biochip device into glass slide microarrays for food pathogen and toxin detection application.
