Objective

<p>Overarching objective of the U.S. Wheat and Bar1ey Scab Initiative focuses on the development of plant genetics and rnangement systems to reduce the incidence of scab. The objectives of this proposal are to provide rnycotoxin analyses on new varieties and processed food.</p>

<p>The Department of Veterinary Diagnostic Services at NDSU will provide vomitoxon (deoxynivalenol or DON) analyses on approximately 11,000 wheat samples/year for about 20 scientists from central USA.</p>
