Objective

The goal of this proposal is to increase the number and weight of kids born and weaned per doe per breeding through early and artificially weaning kids by utilizing a "three kiddings in two years" intensive breeding plan.The specific objectives are:1. To evaluate the nutritional quality and composition of the cow and doe milk replacers as feed for early weaning of kids.2. To wean kids at 2 weeks and 4 weeks of age using cow and doe milk replaces3. To monitor the health and growth of kids raised artificially.
