Enhancing Food Safety Practices and Introducing FSMA Regulations Through Hands-On Activites in Shared-Use Commercial Kitchens Across Florida

Goal: This proposal aims to continue addressing the needs of new food entrepreneurs in Florida, specifically those who operate out of shared-use facilities, to help them preparefor compliancewith FSMA requirements and enhance current food safety practices in these facilities.Objectives:1. Develop curriculum (e.g. workshop materials and activities) updated with FSMA requirements.2. Develop human and organizational capacity required for understanding and applying relevant food safety practices in shared-use commercial kitchens across Florida.3. Implement a monitoring, evaluation, and learning (M&E+L) plan to assess the quality and effectiveness of the developed products and activities.
