EXPANDING LAND ACCESS THROUGH EDUCATION, MATCHMAKING, AND NETWORK DEVELOPMENT

The overall goal of "Expanding Land Access through Education, Matchmaking, and Network Development", is to improve secure land access opportunities and options for underserved farmers and ranchers in the state of Colorado.To achieve this goal, our objectives are: 1) expand awareness and utilization of the Land Access Database as a primary land access resource while increasing the number of appropriate ag land postings for underserved producers; 2) establish a collaborative network of ag land holding organizations and land trusts with express intent of creating and sharing land access opportunities; 3) improve opportunities for viable agricultural careers through improved technical assistance, marketing, and resource support; 4) provide direct funds to next generation producers to participate in conferences, workshops, and other relevant educational events.
