Extension Education for Reducing the Risk of Food-Borne Illness

Objective

To meet the critical needs in Georgia's food service and processing industries, Extension staff will be trained and become a knowledgable source of information related to: 1) state and Federal food codes and application of recommended practices for on-the-job staff; 2) causes of and control mechanisms for food-borne illness; and 3) guidance for new food-related businesses.
