Food Safety Bites: A Weekly Food Safety Podcast

The objectives of this project include:1) Educate diversified vegetable farms as to practical food safety practices and FSMA requirements through a 36-week podcast series covering;2) Provide farmers with tools to implement cost-effective, practical, and efficient changes on their farm to reduce food-borne illness;3) Encourage farmers to view food safety implementation as routine management practice on their farms;4) Provide farmers with a virtual community to share ideas and experiences in the implementation of good food safety and agricultural practices;5) Improve the safety of our food supply by increasing the number of farms adopting Good Agricultural Practices.
