Food Safety at Home will adapt food safety and quality materials including those developed by the Food Safety First project for use with heads of households, child care providers, caregivers of the chronically ill, and youth groups. Representatives of the target audience will participate in the adaptation of materials.Peer educators will be trained locally and regionally. Program impact and effectiveness will be measured using culturally appropriate tools designed to assure accuracy and completeness of data. Collaboration with the agencies that provide service to the target population will maximize the distribution and utilization of the Food Safety at Home materials.
