<ol> <LI> To support infrastructure and safety needs at the animal containment facility dedicated to E. coli research; <LI> To support infrastructure needs and safety needs at animal research facilities on- and off-campus and; <LI>To support equipment, material and supply and safety needs for Animal Health and Disease contributing scientists.

Non-Technical Summary: This project addresses equipment, supply, safety and infrastructure needs for the Idaho Agricultural Experiment Station occupied facilities. <P> Approach: This proposal seeks to utilize the FY2007 IAES-AHD (1433) Formula funding to support critical infrastructure and safety needs at animal research facilities both on- and off-campus. The University of Idaho continues to expand capabilities in the animal health and disease research arena. Therefore, utilization of the FY2007 allocation as proposed will support Idaho Agricultural Experiment Station AHD scientists whose research projects contribute to the majority of our AHD capacity.
