Non-Technical Summary: This project addresses equipment, supply, safety and infrastructure needs for the Idaho Agricultural Experiment Station occupied facilities. <P> Approach: This proposal seeks to utilize the IAES-AHD (1433) Formula funding to support critical infrastructure needs at animal research facilities both on- and off-campus as well as equipment, material and supply needs for AHD scientists. The University of Idaho continues to expand capabilities in the animal health and disease research arena. Therefore, utilization of the FY2008 allocation as proposed will support Idaho Agricultural Experiment Station AHD scientists whose research projects contribute to the majority of the AHD capacity.
