EFSA identified the following tasks to be grouped in this call for tenders, organised in lots according to the different areas of EFSA's remit, i.e. animal health and welfare risk assessment, chemical (toxicological) risk assessment, environmental risk assessment, microbiological (and zoonotic agents) risk assessment, human nutrition, and plant health risk assessment:
1. generating and collecting new evidence (body of facts or information, e.g. raw data, summarised data), via experimental or field studies, surveys, etc.
2. extracting and collating existing evidence
3. synthesising and critically analysing (via qualitative and quantitative methods) evidence.
