GENETICS OF INSECT PESTS

Objective

The cooperator will use a genetic sequencing approach to evaluate phylogeny and population genetics of Culicoides populations with the objective of elucidating discrete populations, migration between populations, and relationships between species and sub-species in distinct geographic regions. Phylogenetic analysis will be used to describe the historical relationships between species.
