Global Characterization of Genes Affecting Strawberry Fruit Phenolics Biosynthesis and Postharvest Quality

Objective

To 1) perform transcriptome analysis of strawberry fruit ripening after various treatments; 2) conduct bioinformatic analysis of the transcriptome data to identify the common set of essential, and/or novel genes regulating phenolics accumulation; and 3) select two candidate genes for functional analysis.
