Provide hands-on technical assistance to small-scale farms in Fresno County on food safety good agricultural practices (GAPs) and compliance with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) through workshops, one-on-one farm visits, and tailgate meetings.2. Tailor educational materials on food safety to meet the needs of small-scale and socially disadvantaged farmers.3. Provide technical assistance on FSMA compliance including the Preventative Controls (Facility) Rule to local wholesale operations.4. Evaluate adoption of food safety practices through site visits after trainings.
