Objective

Determine conceptus and endometrial transcriptional profiles in, and identify genes differentially expressed between, high embryo survival (Meishan) and low embryo survival (Yorkshire) breeds during elongation and implantation. 2. Determine endometrial cytokine response profile (RNA and protein) in high embryo survival (Meishan) and low embryo survival (Yorkshire) sows during maternal recognition of pregnancy and in response to implantation.
