Objective

To implement the virtual EMBRAPA-ARS laboratory, known as LABEX, whereby agricultural problems of mutal interest to Brazil and the U.S. are solved through cooperative research activities.

APPROACH: Develop and transfer technology of value to ARS and EMBRAPA in the broad areas of plant and animal sciences, soil science, agriculture and other additional fields (genomics, genetic resoures, biobased products, food safety nannotechnology).
