IMPROVEMENT OF CRISPR/CAS9-MEDIATED GENOME EDITING IN POULTRY

Objective

The main goal is to develop a new method for easily and efficiently generating genome edited avian species without mediating current methods using a primordial germ cell (PGC)-mediated approach.The main objective of the proposal is to generate GE poultry species by injecting CRISPR/Cas9 adenovirus into four specific locations in specific developmental stages of embryogenesis and to provide an efficient next-generation method for genome-editing in poultry.
