Objective

Objective 1. Increase the sustainability of beef cattle production by increasing the efficiency of N utilization.Objective 2. Achieve an improved understanding of whole-animal and ruminal utilization of N in diets comprised primarily of forage, crop residues, and byproducts of other food and fuel systemsObjective 3. Provide training to graduate and undergraduate students in ruminant nutrition research, forage production, and grazing management of ruminant species to serve as future leaders in ruminant production and forage utilization.
