INSECT PEST MANAGEMENT IN STORED RICE

To conduct experiments on the impact of lesser grain borer infestations on milling quality of stored rice, movement, dispersal in field sites, and evaluation of reduced risk insecticides to control this insect in stored rough rice. Studies will be conducted on the impact of management strategies on insect populations, economic analysis of management costs, and integration of control strategies for stored rice.
