The goal is to develop, expand and enhance teaching and research opportunities for NC A&T and NCSU baccalaureate or graduate students in food allergy and health.Objective 1: Familiarize food and agricultural sciences students at the undergraduate and graduate levels with the essential principles of food allergy and provide hands-on learning opportunities in immunotechnologies.Objective 2: Adapt and advance a food-grade quantitative research strategy for safer, controlled oral immunotherapy and peanut desensitization.
