AN INTERDISCIPLINARY INTEGRATED APPROACH TO ADDRESS FOOD SYSTEMS SUCCESS AND BARRIERS WITHIN FOOD SCIENCE, NUTRITION AND HEALTH

The Iowa State University (ISU) CSSRE objective is to engage scholars in a hands-on experience through research and Extension projects addressing successes and barriers in the local food systems interrelated with the areas of food science, human nutrition, and health while also developing professional development skills. The program aligns with addressing the AFRI Farm bill priorities of food safety, nutrition, and health where we will expose scholars to career opportunities in academia, industry, and EO.
