Objective

<p>The objectives of the research are to investigate mobile genetic elements (viromes and plasmidome) towards understanding the emergence and ecology of antimicrobial resistance in beef cattle production, and to evaluate a novel direct fed microbial as an alternative to antibiotics.</p>
