LARGE ANIMAL GENETIC ENGINEERING SUMMIT 2020

Support for the 3rd Large Animal Genetic Engineering (LAGE) Summit is sought. The specific objectives of the proposed conference are to:1. Bring together scientists working on GE of livestock species, and to have a focused forum that allows for interaction between trainees (graduate students and post-doctoral fellows) and established research leaders from academia, industry and government research institutions.2. Share technical information that will facilitate further technology improvements in the field of livestock genetic engineering including genome editing and their applications in agriculture and biomedicine.3. Review the current regulatory environment and the risk assessment related to genetic engineering of livestock.
