MANAGEMENT OF FUSARIUM HEAD BLIGHT OF WHEAT IN MARYLAND

Project Title 1: Management of Fusarium Head Blight of Wheat in Maryland ¿ Uniform Fungicide Trial Component. This project will examine the effectiveness of an agreed standard set of fungicides on suppression of Fusarium head blight disease, and on accumulation of the disease-associated mycotoxin, deoxynivalenol (DON), in various environments and wheat classes. Project Title 2: Management of Fusarium Head Blight of Wheat in Maryland ¿ Uniform Integrated Management Trial Component. Trials will be conducted in multiple states and wheat classes to test the efficacy of combining tactic into an integrated management program for Fusarium head blight of wheat.
