<ol><li>Challenge hatching or newly hatched chicks with selected Salmonella isolates having limited colonization potential; <li>Conduct 2-dimensional SDS-PAGE analysis of the most interesting isolates from #1 above; <li>Analyze data obtained in #2 to determine which of the isolates should be focused on for further research.</ol>
