FY 2000 Accomplishments: Developed PCR assay for Helicobacter hepaticus. FY2001 plans: 1) Develop polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assay for Helicobacter bilis. 2) Develop procedure for immunosuppressive screening of animals for pathogens using animal isolators in building 14-A containment laboratory.
