Minimizing Food Borne Risks Through Educational Programs for Food Handlers

Objective

This proposal is for the establishment of a Train-the-Trainer Certification program where the Trainers have been previously certified by a food safety course. Upon certification, Trainers will be qualified to conduct certification programs on safe food practices for entry-level food handlers with very little or no knowledge of safe food practices, using the educational materials developed in this proposal.
