Objective

The February 1998 "Initiative to Ensure the Safety of Imported and domestic Fruits and Vegetables: Status Report to the President," calls for a National Food Safety Science and Education Conference. The purpose of this conference is to develop a process for providing education and outreach for domestic growers and producers of fresh fruits and vegetables.
