NOVEL PLATFORM TO EVALUATE IN VITRO AND IN VIVO TOXICITY OF ENGINEERED FOOD NANOPARTICLES

Objective

We will leverage our expertise to study the multifaceted toxic effects of engineered food NPs and accomplish two specific objectives:Determine the PCMs and dissolution kinetics of representative engineered food NPs.Evaluate the factors and identify mechanisms contributing to the nanotoxicities of the NPs using in vitro and in vivo multi-assay-based evaluation.
