The Palau Food Safety and Quality Education Program will improve the food handling/selection/storage practices of families, food handlers, food service workers, teachers, students and policy makers. In addition the entire population of Koror State and other States will be exposed to media information that will heighten awareness of the importance of safe food handling and the risks associated with food and health. This program will also strengthen inter-agency collaboration and community involvement in setting program goals.
