Objective
Isolate and identify pathogens from avocados that develop stem end rots and side rots at the firm-ripe stage from avocados. Evaluate the impact of snapand clip-harvest, a practice that greatly reduces decay losses in preliminary tests, on the number of decayed avocados and the spectrum of causative pathogens.
