The overall goal of this study is to minimize the risk of a foodborne outbreak especially at a time of increased demand. The specific objectives are:1. Determine the prevalence of emerging pathogens (in small ruminants and their products at pre-harvest, slaughter, further processing and retail market levels.2. Develop and deliver a comprehensive extension and education program on foodborne pathogens in food animals to mitigate zoonosis
