A Quantitative Microbiological Risk Assessment of Salmonella Species in Broiler (Gallus gallus) Meat Production

Objective

The aim of the project is to develop and carry out a quantitative microbiological risk assessment (QMRA) that characterises the public health impact of different prevalence levels and target serovars of Salmonella species in broiler flocks in EU MSs. This QMRA will help the EFSA panel and its ad hoc WG in the formulation of its replies to the question posed by the European Commission
