Objective

<OL> <LI> To produce reagent "kits" for detection of several agricultural pathogens that will be used in Idaho Technology's detection instruments.
<LI>
To utilize newly developed technology and instrumentation to develop and evaluate rapid molecular detection capabilities using real time PCR analysis of several agricultual pathogens. <LI>To determine the best extractional procedures for obtaining nucleic acids from the dairy farm environment.
