Objective

Project I: Food handler education will be evaluated as a critical component of the state's Plan of Work in meeting requirements of the Government Performance and Results Act.
<P>Project II: Reaching Hispanics effectively with food safety information is a priority of the Texas Agricultural Extensions Service due to the large Hispanic population.

Effective educational methods and messages are crucial due to language and cultural barriers. Methods and messages will be evaluated for effectiveness and impact.
