Reaching the Worker: Food Safety Education for Food Service Workers will target the highly mobile and frequently under-educated food service worker. The project will capitalize on the highly successful University of Idaho Cooperative Extension food safety education program, "Practical Food Safety for Food Service Workers." Extension Educators will receive additional training with other professionals interested in food safety education. As participants in a food safety district team, Extension Educators will provide training and resource materials to food service workers. The overall goal of this project will be to reduce the incidence of food borne disease in Idaho.
