Research Partnership with Shanghai Jiao Tong University

This NFCA is to formalize a relationship between BHNRC and SJTU. The two Institutes' shared interest in objectives are: 1) To conduct collaborative research related to diet, food-derived bioactives and chronic disease prevention. 2) To train students and faculties from SJTU on related technologies. 3) To develop collaborative projects between ARS scientist and SJTU scientist. The food-derived bioactives may include, but not be limited to phytoalexin, indoles, Isothiocyanate and flavonoids.
