Safe Foods for Moms and Tots

<p>This food safety education program will be conducted for pregnant women and women with young children. "Safe Food for Moms and Tots," a program conducted by mail, will address food safety issues in the home. The program will utilize targeted intervention, where the participants will receive mailings focused on their risky behaviors, as identified from a pre-intervention survey. A control group of women will receive general food safety information, but not messages targeted toward their individual risky behaviors. A follow-up questionnaire will evaluate the effectiveness and efficacy of targeted intervention compared to the control group.</p>
