Objective
The main objective of this study is to determine if the Salmonella prevalence at the end of the finishing production stage correctly represents the Salmonella status of a lot, as a high or low Salmonella prevalence lot. Additionally, this study aims to determine how the Salmonella prevalence varies over time in different lots of animals within the same finishing production system.
