Overall objectives for lot 1:
<ul><li>to ensure that the self-assessment activity delivers an actionable plan,</li>
<li>that the self-assessment results in broad consensus around what is currently working and what needs improvement,</li>
<li>that the self-assessment activity is fact-based and can be used to get EFSA management buy-in to the development of an ISO-accreditable quality management system.</li></ul>
Overall objectives for lot 2:
<ul><li>that the resulting SOPs form the basis of a comprehensive quality management system with clear definition of roles and responsibilities and suitable records for demonstrating compliance,</li>
<li>that the SOPs are accepted by the organisation as appropriate and proportionate to achieving the goals.</li></ul>
