Objective

<p>
<ol>
<li>Assess different next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies and various bioinformatics strategies for handling and analyzing the massive sequence datasets by using the reference RNA samples previously established by the MicroArray Quality Control (MAQC) project.</li>
<li>Profile, using NGS technologies, RNA samples isolated from cells with or without treatment by nanoparticles and known toxicants to further evaluate their performance in assessing the safety and toxicity of FDA-regulated products.</li></ol></p>
