Objective

Evaluate the effectiveness of innovative treatment methods to inactivate, remove, or destroy microcontaminants and zoonotic pathogens in reclamation water.

More information

Approach: A combination of bench- and pilot- scale studies will be conducted using traditional and innovative water disinfection technologies to determine protozoan and viral pathogen and microcontaminant (pharmaceutical, endocrine disrupters, and other chemical contaminants) reduction from reclamation waters of differing qualities.
