Survival and Inactivation of Human Norovirus (hunov) and Its Surrogate On Commercial Aircraft Cabin Frequently Touched Surfaces

Objective

The major goals of our study are to 1) evaluate the persistence ofhuman norovirus (huNoV)and its surrogate-MS2 bacteriophage on frequently touchedcommercial aircraft cabinsurfaces, and 2) estimate the inactivation efficacy of disinfectants on those surfaces, especially when they are soiled with vomit or diarrhea.
